It's that time of year! Imagined Landscapes is launching their newest Gnome Mystery Knit A Long (MKAL) December first, and we have some mini skein kits perfect for the occasion with a few optional add ons, too!

"Countdown the days of December with the folks of the Grimblewoods! You’ll get wee knitting updates to knit a brand new gnome, stories, recipes, and surprises!

It’s almost Longest Gnight but there hasn’t been a single snowflake fluttering in the sky. The Grimblewoods are a dreary, frozen brown landscape, and the gnomes are getting worried. Without snow in the darkest days, the light doesn’t reflect very well and houses and hearts seem darker this year. The littlest gnomes are especially anxious – how will the Gnome of the Gnorth light lanterns on Longest Gnight if his sleigh can’t slide speedily through the snow?"

YARN INFO

4 x 20 gram skeins of 2 ply high twist fingering weight yarn, 85% Superwash Merino/15% nylon 72m/79 yards each

Two plies are twisted tightly together to produce a very soft and springy yarn. The 2 plies make the yarn slightly bumpy which helps the strands of yarn hold together against each other making it great for colourwork and lace work.

Yarn is hand dyed in small batches in our smoke free workshop, using professional acid dyes and high quality yarn. No two skeins are identical, even if they come from the same dye lot; a feature that lends to their beauty.

While we try to ensure accuracy in my photos, it is possible that colours may not be exactly as shown due to variances on computer and portable device screens.


CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Hand-wash your item in cool water and lay flat to dry for best results.

Please note that while all efforts are taken during production to ensure this yarn is colourfast, it is possible for hand-dyed yarn to bleed minimally in the first few washes. To help prevent this, always wash in cool water.
