The second Smash Knits yarn club of 2022 is a collection of moody, deep colourways inspired by the book and television series, A Discovery of Witches. Come explore the mysterious world of alchemy and magical creatures in colour form with us! 

Only a limited number of each colourway will be dyed.

The domestic shipping option for this listing defaults to a flat shipping option when purchasing ONE or TWO skeins. The yarn is packaged unskeined, vacuum-sealed, and mailed via lettermail with no tracking/insurance.

Time spinners, or time walkers, have the ability to manipulate and move through time. Diana Bishop is such a witch, as was her father Stephen Proctor. This month's skein is inspired by days gone by, when travel was an all-encompassing undertaking and not the easy experience we know it to be today. When thinking of travel from the past, rich tones of brown, chocolate, mahogany & gold come to mind, representative of sturdy suitcases, aromatic leather accessories, sturdy footwear, and cozy outerwear.

This includes the main colour of the month + 4 coordinating mini skeins, complete as a 5 skein mini set. Each mini is 20 grams / 88 yards / 80 meters on our Super Sock base of 85/15 Superwash Merino/Nylon

OPTIONAL: add-on a coordinating glass bead stitch marker, a 20 gram mini skein (fingering weight, Super Sock base) or both.

Each skein is hand dyed in small batches in our smoke free workshop using professional acid dyes and high quality yarn. No two skeins are identical, even if they come from the same dye lot; a feature that lends to their beauty!

While we try to ensure accuracy in our photos, it is possible that colours make not be exactly as shown due to variances on computer and portable device screens.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS
For best results and to avoid colour bleeding, it is suggested to handwash in cool water and lay flat to dry. Do not use bleach and do not iron.

All efforts are taken during production to ensure this yarn is colourfast, though it is possible for hand-dyed yarn to bleed minimally in the first few washes. To help prevent this, always wash in cool water.
